Product Description

Product Overview

High pressure integral fittings and welded fittings are essential flowline components used in oil and gas well cementing, hydraulic fracturing, well testing, and other high-pressure surface operations. These fittings connect various pieces of equipment—pumps, manifolds, hoses, and piping systems—into a complete, leak-free flow path capable of safely conveying abrasive slurries, acids, and other well service fluids at extreme pressures.

Unlike conventional threaded or fabricated pipe fittings, integral fittings are forged from a single piece of high-strength alloy steel-. This one-piece construction eliminates welded seams and potential weak points, drastically reducing the risk of leaks even under immense stress-Welded fittings, by contrast, feature end connections that are welded directly to the pipe or flowline.

All our fittings are designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with API Spec 6A—the international standard governing wellhead and Christmas tree equipment. They are also available with sour service compliance to NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for H₂S environments.

Product Types – Complete Range of Flowline Components

We offer a comprehensive range of both integral and welded fittings to meet every flowline configuration requirement:

Fitting Type

Description

Primary Function

Wyes (Y-Type Tees)

Y-shaped three-way fitting

Merges or splits flow at a 45° angle, reducing turbulence and pressure drop compared to standard tees-

Ells / Elbows

90° or 45° angled fittings

Changes flow direction in the piping system

Tees

T-shaped three-way fitting

Branches one pipeline into two, maintaining efficient flow

Crosses

Four-way fitting

Connects four pipelines at a single junction point

Laterals

Side-outlet fitting

Provides a branch connection from the main flowline

Fishtails (Four-Way Laterals)

Multi-outlet lateral

Offers additional branch connections for complex manifold systems

All fittings are available in nominal sizes from 2″ to 4″, with rated working pressures from 3,000 psi to 20,000 psi (21 MPa to 140 MPa). End connections include union ends (hammer union style) for quick, tool-less connection-welded ends per API 6A specifications, and flanged connections-.

Key Features – Engineered for Extreme Oilfield Conditions

1. High-Strength Alloy Steel Forging

All integral fittings are forged from premium high-strength alloy steel. The forging process aligns the metal grain structure, resulting in superior mechanical properties—higher tensile strength, better impact resistance, and improved fatigue life compared to cast or fabricated alternatives-.

2. Advanced Heat Treatment

Every fitting undergoes advanced heat treatment (quenching and tempering) to optimise hardness, toughness, and load-bearing capacity. This process ensures the fittings can withstand the extreme pressures, cyclic loading, and thermal cycling typical of hydraulic fracturing and cementing operations-.

3. Erosion-Resistant Internal Surfaces

Inner walls vulnerable to erosion from abrasive slurries—such as frac sand-laden fluids and cement slurries—are specially strengthened to extend service life. Inner bores are chamfered to avoid stress concentration.

4. API 6A Compliance & Material Traceability

All fittings comply with API Spec 6A (latest edition), with full material traceability and comprehensive quality documentation. Material classes available include AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, and HH, covering everything from general service to severe sour service environments. Product Specification Levels (PSL) range from PSL 1 through PSL 4.

5. Wide Temperature Range

Our fittings are rated for operation across extreme temperatures:

Class PU: -29°C to +121°C (-20°F to +250°F)

Class LU: -46°C to +121°C (-50°F to +250°F)

6. Interchangeable Union Ends

Fittings with union ends are designed to be interchangeable with industry-standard hammer unions, including Fig 602, Fig 1002, Fig 1502, and Fig 2002. This ensures compatibility with existing equipment from major manufacturers.

7. Sour Service Capability

For wells containing hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), fittings can be manufactured to meet NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 requirements, with appropriate material selection and hardness control to prevent sulphide stress cracking.

Integral vs. Welded Fittings – Understanding the Difference

Feature

Integral Fittings

Welded Fittings

Construction

Forged from a single piece of alloy steel

End connections welded to the pipe

Strength

No seams or weld joints—maximum strength

Weld joints can be potential weak points

Leak Risk

Minimized—no weld seams to fail

Requires proper welding procedure and inspection

Cost

Higher initial cost-

More economical

Applications

Critical high-pressure, high-cycle operations

General service, lower-pressure applications

Interchangeability

Fully interchangeable with Weco-style unions

Depends on weld-end configuration

Integral fittings are the preferred choice for critical high-pressure applications where safety and reliability are paramount. Welded fittings offer a cost-effective alternative for less demanding service conditions.

Applications – Where Our Fittings Are Used

Our high pressure integral and welded fittings are essential components across a wide range of oilfield operations:
