Product Description
Auto Density Control Mixing Skid – Precision Cement Mixing for Oil & Gas Well Cementing
Product Overview
An auto density control mixing skid is a self-contained, skid-mounted cement mixing unit designed to precisely blend dry cement, water, and chemical additives into a homogeneous cement slurry of consistent density. It is an essential component of modern oil and gas well cementing operations, where the quality and consistency of the cement slurry directly impact well integrity, zonal isolation, and long-term production performance.
Unlike traditional batch mixing methods that rely heavily on operator skill and manual adjustments, an auto density control mixing skid automates the entire mixing process. It continuously monitors slurry density and automatically adjusts the feed rates of dry cement and water to maintain the target density within a tight tolerance. This level of precision ensures that the cement slurry meets the exact specifications required for each stage of the well—from surface casing to production liner.
Our auto density control mixing skids are available in a range of configurations, from compact single-pump units suitable for smaller operations to high-capacity twin-pump skids designed for large-scale offshore and onshore projects. All units feature advanced ACM (Auto Control Mixing) systems—the latest in mixing and density control technology—and are built for reliable performance in demanding environments.
Key Features – Engineered for Precision, Safety, and Reliability
1. Advanced ACM Auto Density Control System
Our mixing skids are equipped with ACM-III.1 or ACM-IV.1 auto density control systems. The ACM-IV.1 system provides full-auto control of density and liquid level, making density feedback and control more timely and accurate. The system greatly simplifies equipment operation based on working habits in oilfields and optimized software algorithms.
2. High-Energy Recirculation Jet Mixing System
The skid utilizes advanced high-energy mixing technology. Through the combination of a high-energy mixer, recirculation between the recirculation pump and mixing tank, and blending by agitators, it ensures stable, high-quality slurry.
3. Dual-Tank Design for Superior Slurry Quality
The mixing tank is divided into mixing tub and averaging tub. This design improves slurry quality by allowing the slurry to remain in the averaging tank for additional mixing time, making the slurry more even and stable. The average tank volume ranges from 1.2 m³ to 3.2 m³ depending on the model.
4. Non-Radioactive Densitometer
The skid is equipped with a F300 non-radioactive densitometer. This type of densitometer is safe, reliable, and easy to wash—eliminating the regulatory and safety concerns associated with radioactive density measurement.
5. Off-Centre Dry Cement Valve
The skid features a new off-centre dry cement valve that effectively prevents bulk material from choking, ensuring smooth operation.
6. Independent Power and Pump Systems
The mixing power is supplied by an independent power unit, which increases the actual operation power of the main engine. The power source of the slurry recirculation pump and the triplex pump are independent, so slurry quality is not affected by fluctuations in triplex pump pressure or flow rate.
7. Friendly User Interface
The skid features a 10-inch operation screen for convenient monitoring of working data. The user interface is designed to adapt to working habits in oilfields, simplifying operation.
8. Comprehensive Safety Systems
Emergency killing system – Air inlet shutoff system for enhanced safety
Plunger pump over-pressure protection system
SPS non-leakage packing system
9. Portable Data Acquisition
The skid is equipped with a portable wireless/wired data acquisition system for real-time monitoring and recording of operation data.
10. Compact and Transportable Design
The skid features a logical layout and compact structure, with forklift holes and lift pins for easy transportation and hoisting.
