High Strength Single Plug Cement Head,Single Plug Casing Cementing Head |
||
Product Description
A cementing head is installed on top of the casing string before a cementing operation. Its main job is to allow the operator to drop the bottom and top cement plugs without opening the casing. This tool pumps slurry and releases plugs in a controlled sequence, ensuring that drilling fluid fills the casing quickly and evenly.
The single plug cementing head is a specialized version designed to pump slurry and release one plug at a time. It connects directly to the casing and is commonly used in conventional cementing operations where simplicity and reliability are key.
Key Features
High-strength construction – The main body is made from high-tensile alloy steel, capable of withstanding high working pressures.
Quick-latch adapter – Allows faster, easier, and safer makeup to the casing. This design works well across a wide range of applications.
Positive lever indicator – Clearly shows when the plug has been released. This gives the rig operator immediate, visual confirmation, reducing uncertainty during the job.
Dual-plug capability – Although it's called a single plug head, it can actually hold two plugs simultaneously (top and bottom). This simplifies the cementing process and prevents contamination between the slurry and the displacement fluid.
Balance pipe included – Helps equalize pressure during plug release, improving job reliability.
